We except most types of insurance, including most PPOs, HMOs and Medi-Cal. We are happy to check your specific plan to get details regarding your specific coverage and we will process all of your insurance paperwork for you. You just need to call us at (323) 264-8834 to get started.

Yes, we do. We know that dental emergencies happen and they can be very distressing so we gladly accept and accommodate emergencies for both new and existing patients.
Yes we do. We see patients from the time their first tooth erupts, usually around 6 months old (to educate the parents about issues affecting baby teeth and jaw development) all the way up to seniors. Our youngest patient is 6 months old and our oldest patient is 104 years old!
Yes we do. We understand how hard it is to take time off from work so in addition to appointments earlier in the day we also see patients in the late afternoon/early evening hours to limit disruptions to your work schedule.
Yes, we do. We understand it’s hard for children to miss school and even harder for parents to take time off from work to bring their children in for their appointments so we do offer Saturday appointments.
Yes we do. We offer several different plans that patients can apply for. Although there are no approval guaranties, we do our best to provide multiple options to help as many patients as we can including for patients that may not have very good credit. Some of the plans available include zero down payment and/or zero interest options based on eligibility.

Yes, we do. Digital radiography is safer than traditional X-rays as it exposes the patient to far less radiation levels so we are happy to be using all digital radiography in our office.
Yes, we do. In our office we use a digital scanner for the majority of patients to get a model of their teeth. This involves a small wand that we run along your teeth that gives us a digital computerized image of your teeth. It is completely comfortable and our patients like this experience much better than the traditional alginate trays that are typically used to get a model. There are some rare instances where we may still have to use alginate trays but for the great majority of cases, we are able to use the digital scanner.
Yes, we do. Dental trauma, dental phobia and dental anxiety are all very real … and very common both in adults and in children. We have a great deal of respect and empathy for patients who are struggling with anxiety and past dental traumas. Dr Amiri’s background in psychology together with his love for his patients both young and old, motivated him to develop our unique comfort program over the course of many years. Our comfort program combines techniques from psychology, hypnotherapy, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to help with both the physical and emotional experience in the chair. We have had wonderful results with patients who came in paralyzed with fear. These patients were able to slowly and gently get exposed to a different kind of experience and went on to successfully and comfortably complete their treatment. There is nothing more satisfying for us than seeing previously fearful patients come back without the fear and anxiety that had plagued them for much of their lives. Of course, there is no guarantee that everybody responds the same way, but our techniques can help.
No, we do not use papoose boards and we do not tie down children in our office. We focus instead on gaining the trust of our child patients, making them feel safe and comfortable and taking time to deliver treatment slowly, gently and with great care so they realize there is nothing to be fearful of. We want our child patients to feel that going to the dentist is a good experience and not something to fear. If children can have a good and positive early experience with dentistry, they will be better served for the rest of their lives.
We are incredibly proud to have been serving our community for almost 40 wonderful years! One of the greatest joys for us has been seeing the children and families that we started seeing many decades ago grow up and become parents themselves. Those former children now bring their own children to us as patients. This has been the most rewarding part of our many years here. We have been blessed to be a part of many births, baptisms, quinceneras, graduations and weddings and we hope to continue welcoming the next generation of friends and neighbors for many more years.

There are no fees or surcharges for past due bills or incomplete payments during the month of March, April, May, and June.
